UNI EN ISO 14001 Certification
ESA engineering confirms its commitment to environmental issues by obtaining the certification of its Environmental Management System in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 14001 : 2015 standard, issued by TUV Italy.
The ISO 14001 standard provides a systematic framework for the integration of practices to protect the environment, preventing pollution, reducing the amount of waste, the consumption of energy and materials. The adoption of a certified system, regularly verified and updated, ensures the implementation of efficient and sustainable development goals.
ESA engineering is proud of this achievement, as it believes that the commitment to provide quality services, aimed at fully satisfying the customer’s requests, also means responsibility in choosing, sharing and promoting a sustainable model for everyone’s future.
UNI EN ISO 9001 Certification
ESA engineering operates using an ISO 9001: 2015 certified quality management system, issued by TUV Italy.
This ensures that ESA engineering work complies with the international quality system standards.
This QMS certification covers all ESA services: design, construction supervision and testing of civil works and MEP systems, acoustic design, fire safety design and all other technical advice that ESA professionals can provide.
For ESA Customers it means that we are focused on satisfying customer requests, using a standardized, reliable and robust engineering process that promotes positive and quality results. It also means that ESA engineering is required to demonstrate continuous and unceasing improvement.
Uni PdR 125:2022 Certification
ESA is one of the first Italian companies to have received the Uni PdR 125: 2022 gender equality certification.
This involves a specific assessment based on six parameters (KPI): culture and strategy, governance, HR processes, opportunities for the growth and inclusion of women in the company, gender pay equity, protection of parenthood and work-life balance.
This confirms ESA’s commitment to base its activities on supporting the values of diversity and inclusion.
With this intent, ESA is also among the first organizations to sign the “Charter for Equal Opportunities and Equality in the Workplace – Italian Diversity Charter“.

UNI EN ISO 45001 Certification
ESA engineering has obtained the certification linked to the Health and Safety Management System in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 45001:2018 standard, issued by TUV Italy.
The goal is to analyse, manage, monitor and constantly improve safety while preserving the health of internal and external personnel.
ISO 45001 certification provides a solid framework for managing OSH risks and opportunities, and certifies a safe and healthy workplace and protects personnel from physical and mental health.
Ecovadis - Silver medal
Ecovadis is an international platform that evaluates corporate social responsibility. The assessment is based on the company’s performance in four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. By monitoring corporate performance, it aims to improve environmental and social practices.
Ecovadis certification reflects the commitment of the ESA team to improve its CSR approach, taking into account environmental, social and ethical issues in daily activities.
OICE Membership
OICE is the trade association, member of Confindustria, which represents the Italian engineering, architecture and technical-economic consultancy organizations. Established in 1965, OICE groups together many of the large Italian engineering companies and most of the most qualified small and medium-sized companies in the sector. OICE is a founding member of EFCA, the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations, based in Brussels, which, by bringing together 27 national Associations, represents the sector of organized engineering at an international level.
As a member of OlCE, ESA engineering complies with the current rules of professional behavior and with the statutory and particular ones expressed by the Association and the Code of Ethics, providing the contribution of ideas, energies and skills.

The European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA) is the federation to represent the engineering consultancy industry in Europe. Founded in 1992, EFCA has member associations in 28 European countries representing over 10,000 companies and more than one million staff in engineering and related services.
EFCA’s mission is to promote the European engineering consultancy industry on a European level and to represent it to the European institutions. As experts in our field, we work to influence EU legislation on matters that affect our industry, helping us to achieve common European goals such as the promotion of fair competition and transparent procurement rules.

ESA engineering has been a member since 2017 of U.S.Green Building Council ( USGBC ).
The goal of this organization is to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built, and managed.

Since 2024, ESA engineering has been associated with UNICMI: the National Union of Metal Construction Industries, Building Envelope, and Joinery. UNICMI’s commitment is aimed at updating regulations and constantly improving the technological and qualitative level of the sector’s productions, representing an important reference for design companies specializing in facade engineering.
Following a convention signed in 2006, UNICMI and the Department of Science and Technology of the Built Environment (BEST) at the Polytechnic University of Milan established a course in Building Envelope Design as part of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Building Engineering-Architecture.
