Acoustic Design

At ESA engineering our expertise allows us to provide a broad range of acoustic services. We are able to carry out several types of acoustic reports on noise levels related to traffic, restaurants, childcare centers, industrial buildings etc. We can also assess the noise intrusion level of air-conditioning devices, motorized ventilation systems and of any other noise sources, in addition to the noise generated from a building site during the construction phase.

In detail, Acoustic Design includes:

VIA – VALUTAZIONE IMPATTO ACUSTICO – Project analysis regarding HVAC to determine noise in HVAC systems (about external units and external grids) and, if necessary, propose corrective solutions
Project analysis regarding HVAC to determine noise in HVAC systems (about internal units) and, if necessary, propose corrective solutions
RAP – REQUISITI ACUSTICI PASSIVI – Project analysis regarding facades and all their components (walls, windows and doors) to determine the acoustic insulation from external airborne noise pollution and, if necessary, propose corrective solutions
Project analysis regarding separating wall and floor to determine airborne and impact sound insulation intended to reduce the transmission of normal living/working noise between adjoining rooms and slabs and, if necessary, propose corrective solutions
Project analysis regarding technical rooms and any other noisier area to determine airborne sound insulation, impact sound insulation and vibration insulation and, if necessary, propose corrective solutions
Project analysis regarding mechanical electrical and plumbing installations to identify necessary corrective actions to improve their sound insulation
Study of the reverberation in the common internal rooms for residential purposes and/or special destinations and, if necessary, propose corrective solutions to improve internal acoustic comfort
Supervision of the works and materials approval
