BREEAM RFO 2015 – First time in Italy

OVS Flagship Store, located in Corso Buenos Aires in Milan, is the first building on Italian territory to obtain certification with BREEAM RFO 2015 protocol.
The voluntary green building certification process BREEAM has introduced into the lifecycle of the OVS building, about 4300 sqm, sustainability elements that involve an integrated design policy, site management and sustainable purchasing of materials, control of all the local technical systems through the advanced commissioning activities.
The purpose is to simplify the day-to-day management processes of the store, to save on energy and to obtain economic benefits in terms of cost reduction, reducing environmental impact. ESA engineering participated in the project by providing MEP design services. We are, therefore, proud of the excellent scores obtained in all ten areas of sustainability envisaged by BREEAM certification
